The Pitch

Our pitch contained all the ideas of our film and was used for us to sell our film ideas to the rest of the class and our teachers.
It included details on our film synopsis, characters and casts and locations. We also included description of what our opening is to consists of with a detailed description of the opening shots. We decided our camera angles and used images to show the audience exactly what we intended to do. We also showed samples of our storyboard and script to show we had planned all aspects of our film. We have made a PowerPoint of all our ideas making it look more professional and organised.

With all these details finalised and planned already it should make the shooting of our film as easy as possible. Our storyboard
is extremely detailed and mentions the camera movement, camera shots, and the timing of each shot so we know exactly what to do for each shot.

When we performed our pitch to the class and teacher, we included everything that was supposed to be included and showed the audience exactly what was going to appear in our opening. The pitch was successful and our teacher said our idea was good enough to be approved. Our final things to now do are to perfect our storyboards and scripts, create our shooting schedule and then begin to start filming our opening.

Synopsis of Film

Before we began filming our opening scene we needed to have a clear idea on the synopsis of our whole film. This was essential as it allows us to give away clues of what is going to happen in the remaining of our film in our opening and allows us to have a clear idea on the characters personalities and therefore how to portray them as well as a clear idea on what is going to happen in each part of the film making it easier to create our opening.
